Kia Ora. With 9T Science class the main concept I was trying to teach was how to calculate and work out the Atomic number and the mass number. We also learned how to calculate Protons, Electrons and Neutrons from the mass and atomic number. The class tried for the first twenty elements from the periodic table. Hi Mr Prakash. You've taught us all about atoms, electrons, nuclear, and protons, and I will tell you about 1 main thing during the lessons. So in Primary we didn't do any science so you taught how to read and know where the atoms, mass number, and their symbols are. I also learnt that Protons and neutrons make the nucleus which is in the middle and the electrons are floating around in a cloud on the outside. That is what I learnt. Have a great week, BYEEEE :)

ReplyDeleteKia ora my name is Honekai and Today in our science lessien with Mr Prakash taught us about atoms and what is the difference between all sorts of atoms i found it difficult to fill out the template because i had to keep looking at my book every now and again but it was good to see my work results then we had to reflect on what we did today.

I found a lot of things hard. because i got good listing skills but somethings hard, the things I found easy about atoms that atom have mass numbers and symbols. Oxygen stands for O and the mass is 16.00. The things I found hard was fingering out what happens when two atoms join together, they turn into molecule.

Humans, animals,objects, everything, everything that takes up space has matter for me. That was very fun and easy. ReplyDeleteKia Ora Mr Prakash, Today and yesterday I learnt about things off the periodic table.Such as: Names, Symbols, Atomic Numbers, Mass Numbers, Protons,Electrons and Neutrons. I learnt that atomic number equals protons and electrons in a neutral atom.I also learnt if you subtract Mass number atomic number it will give you neutrons.

I have also learnt how to find the answer to make the Neutron.Protons and Neutrons are the inside the Nucleus and the Electrons are rotating outside.😊
ReplyDeleteHey Mr Prakash, Today I learnt that the atomic number and the (Protons and Electrons) Are exactly the same. Including that by subtracting the atomic number from the mass number it will equal as the neutrons, Also I found out that the heart of a atom is the protons and neutrons and the electrons orbit around it! ReplyDeleteHi uncle Prakash,from these classes ive attended i have learnt about atoms and atomic numbers,ive learnt how calculate the atomic number to the mass number and the protons and electrons,and ive learnt about the periodic table and how to work out the mass number and atomic number and get the protons and eletrons and if you subtract the mass from the atomic number if will give you the neutron,you also taught us about how an atom is made(the nucleus is the heart of the atom and the neutrons and protons are inside the nucleus and outside the nucleus the electrons are surrounding it forming an atom).

Hi today our class 9T were learning about an Atomic Mass number and also were learning about Protons for e.g (20.00-10=10.00), Electron and Neutrons to make the atomic number. The challenging part of it was to find out the atomic number because it keep on going higher and higher for then to get harder. The easy part was writing the periodic table out into the sheet and yeah i had really fun doing that hope you enjoyed. Bye
