  2. What improvements are you proud of and how do you think you gained those improvements? I’m proud of my coopers run test because my goal was 1600 and I didn’t just succeed that goal I got 50 meters more. For my cooper's run I got a percentage of %24.5. I hit my goals by running everyday for training and this is the quote I used to encoureage myself to keep going, Type it in here or copy and paste the quote on the page.

I am proud of my 12 minute Coopers Run Retest results. My first test was 1650m and I got 2100m in my Retest. Not only did I get a 27.2% increase but I also went 200m over my original goal. I thank Whaea Ruth for making me go on the bike for 13 minutes.

I’m super surprised with my running, when we first did the running it was pretty much straight after the holidays which is where I did absolutely nothing and I felt a bit unfit but after a month's work of training and actually getting outside I improved my run by 425 meters.

  6. What would you improve on when given power over your own learning and achievement? Improve on my consistency

What did you enjoy most about this Badminton unit?

Learning new skills and using them in a game effectively to get points e.g: Back hand clear, moving, overhead clear, e.t.c and vs people in a proper match, I also liked that we played little games in between like 3 on 3

  11. Here is my Badminton Reflection:

What did you enjoy most about this Badminton unit?

I enjoyed playing badminton because I felt like I could play on the hard/competitive side, my partner helped me grow my skills and I enjoyed having a laugh with the other team.

What gave you the greatest sense of Achievement?

Understanding badminton skills, Helping others to improve eg. My partner taught her to stay composed and never gave up even if we were losing. That’s my greatest sense of achievement knowing I could give someone help/advice and staying composed.

I like the constant detailed and in depth work, you have definitely improved in your sportsmanship and learning how to keep composed. I would like to thank you for giving me advice and helping me to keep composed at all times, especially because sometimes I tend to struggle in those key areas. Keep the great work up :), NICE COMMENTING WITH YAHH!!!!

  12. The best part of this unit was 1v1ing before class with Deegan to warm up, doing the 2v2s competitively and practicing new techniques
    With my partner.

When Deegan and I were doing king of the court and had long rally’s with drop shots and overhead clears.

  15. What did you enjoy most about this Badminton unit?

The thing I enjoyed the most about this Badminton unit was working with a buddy and playing against other pairs. I liked how I worked with Ocean. We both had around the same skill level and she communicated very well. I enjoyed how we both had a balance between competitive and fun play and how we both gave each other advice to make better improvement.

    2. Fitness Unit
What would you improve on when given power over your own learning and achievement in future units?
I would improve my abdominals and obliques. I would personally improve these parts of my body because they are my weakest and they are also used in many sports. I am also sick of having a whanau pack :’) I want abbs. Another thing that I would improve on is Mindsets, I like this part of HPE because it has changed me and made a better person and I would like it if I could be able to learn/invest in it so I can pass this knowledge down to the next person who will past it down to the other and so on… The outcome for this is that when this knowledge has been passed down, people will start adapting to this knowledge meaning that in the future there will be less people with fixed mindsets and more people with growth mindsets, and that there is ka pai. :)

  17. How well did you use those lessons?

Very well every time we were running we would run a extra distance, the first time we ran we went to the park down the road and we did that for the first and second run. On our third one we ran through town and up the hill by the laundromat and then next one we ran to the beginning of the cycle track.

A challenge I had was trying not to laugh because I was a bit uncomfortable doing the exercise.
I’m proud of myself though because I did the yoga and I felt very good after it.
Someone I motivated was Hemi and Deegan.

I'm very happy that I met my goal in the coopers run. What made me improve was my mindset knowing I had to get more than before if I wanted to see any change. From the being of the unit to the end I improved quite a bit exceeding in each score by little or a lot. This proves when you put your mind to something anything is possible.
